At Aura Filmes we facilitate both crew entering Brazil from abroad, and shooting with local crew here in Brazil.

Sao Paulo, where much of Brazil’s commercial production is based, has top-notch camera, lighting, sound, production and art department crew. Rio de Janeiro has a strong history of film, TV drama and documentary, and is also well served for professional crews.

Some of Brazil’s other major cities, such as Brasilia, Recife and Belo Horizonte also have a strong but much smaller pool of crew to draw from. For shoots outside of Brazil’s urban centres we generally recommend recruiting key crew in Sao Paulo or Rio and travelling to the location.

We have crewed productions for clients such as BBC, ARTE, Casual Films, CNN+, Blink, Deutsche Welle and Bloomberg.
