Whilst we facilitate the whole gamut of video and television production, much of what our clients request would come under the label ‘videography’. So, self-shooting directors who are also perhaps happy to run sound and lighting - either working alone or with a very reduced crew.

Brazil has much less self-shooters working at a high level than would be the norm in the UK and US, where there has been a tradition for many years of even factual TV being self-shot (which is very much not the case in Brazil).

As our experience at Aura is born out of the British TV industry, we have a good handle on what foreign clients expect when hiring a videographer or self-shooter and can work closely with our partners to find someone suitable for the kind of content they are producing.

If we feel like a one-man-band type shooter with the specific experience the client is requesting will be difficult to find, we may well offer to build a super slimline crew to get the job done in a nimble way.
